Immunity Elixir

This is a powerful elixir to enjoy in the morning to help boost your immunity and digestion, while reducing inflammation. Great to prepare if you feel like you are getting sick.
Ingredients
- 3 1/2 cups coconut water
- 3 lemons (juiced)
- 1 TB honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1 ½ TB fresh ginger (peeled, chopped)
- 1 TB ground turmeric or 1 ½ TB fresh turmeric root (peeled, chopped)
- Pinch of black pepper (to activate the turmeric)
Instructions
- Place all ingredients into a blender. Blend on high for 1-2 minutes until fully blended. Serve yourself about 1 cup worth in a glass.
- Pour remainder into a large mason jar with lid for storage in the fridge. Each day, shake the jar before serving yourself a portion. Lasts 4-5 days in the fridge.
- If this is too “spicy” for you, increase the coconut water or decrease the fresh ginger.
